About the Speaker: Wilfred Mlay was born on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. He was educated at the University of Dar-es-
Salaam and the University of London. A former professor and academic dean in Tanzania, Professor Mlay is currently Regional Vice President for Africa with World Vision International. Prior to holding this position he was Regional Director for East Africa with the International Bible Society. He claims the Bible and poverty alleviation as two of his greatest passions in life.
